This was my first real freelance project. I learned a lot about working with the needs of multiple people and communicating through middle-men. The technical limits on this book cover were unlike those I had encountered before- the bleeds were large, the margins were larger, and I was still learning the best ways to layout and produce images for print.

I’ve grown a lot since this first stab at a freelance project. I learned more about software, communication, and how to ask the right questions. Even though there were lots of things I didn’t get right, I ended up creating something my client and I were both excited about and that I’m still able to be proud of.
